dc.description.abstract In this thesis, sufficient conditions for the zero solution of nonlinear Volterra integrodifferential equations are established. The Lyapunov’s direct method is the main mathematical technique used in the study. Thus, a Lyapunov functional is constructed. This Lyapunov functional is then used to derive sufficient conditions for the zero solution of nonlinear Volterra integrodifferential equations to be stable, uniformly stable and uniformly aymptotically stable. en_US
