dc.description.abstract | The study was conducted to establish the level of ICT usage among teachers and students in the teaching and learning of mathematics in senior high school in the Greater Accra region. To carry out such a research entails a careful study of what others have done and what also pertains on the ground. To achieve this, a thorough review of literature was carried out and questionnaire was used to solicit information from 300 respondents (250 students and 50 teachers) who were selected from five (5) public senior high schools through random sampling. The study revealed that most of the respondents have access to internet and computers. However, most of the computer and the internet users do not use them for teaching mathematics (in the case of teachers) or learning mathematics (in the case of students). It is recommended that mathematics teachers in Senior High Schools should be equipped with the necessary know-how to be able to teach mathematics effectively and efficiently using ICT. | en_US |
